Join us each month as we prepare a 5 course themed dinner built around one ingredient. Nectar Dinner Club connects you with local farmers, growers, or producers of local foods, creative ways to use new ingredients, and the camaraderie of other Cincinnati ”foodies”!

We are excited to welcome Kenny from Kenny’s Cheese in Barren County, Kentucky to share his popular and delicious hand crafted, farmstead cheeses. Don’t miss this chance to taste and learn about Kenny’s old world style raw milk and pasteurized cheeses.

Our menu for the evening will include:

  • Sallie’s greens, pickled blueberry, almonds,celery, Barren County Blue buttermilk dressing
  • Charred corn elote salad; chiles, lime, epazote, roasted garlic mayo, Kenny’s asiago
  • Baked spelt gnocchi, roasted tomato, basil, speck, Kenny’s St. Jerome
  • Wild salmon paillard, summer squash, fennel, cherry tomato, dill, Kenny’s Awe Brie
  • Kenny’s Norwood gruyere panna cotta, fresh figs, local honey, walnut

  Mt. Lookout’s own Buona Terra, makers of authentic Italian gelatos and sorbets, will handcraft some special creations for our delicious “frozen ” dinner!
Our menu for the evening will include:
  • Jerk spiced tuna tartare with compressed melon, watermelon rum granita
  • Heirloom tomato terrine with a basil-ouzo sorbet
  • Polenta croquettes with cherry tomato, basil and speck, sweet corn gelato
  • Cured, chilled duck breast salad with charred green beans, grilled peaches, berries, blackberry balsamic gelato
  • Cajeta, goat’s milk caramel, frozen yogurt ice cream sandwich

Celebrate as the end of our bountiful local growing season comes to a close with a dinner of Southern inspired preserves, pickles, and seasonal dishes.

Our menu for the evening will include:
  • Pickle Spread; chow chow, pickled okra,cucumber,and beets with pimento cheese, corn beer bread
  •  Fried green tomato, smoked seafood remoulade, lemon cayenne aioli
  •  Crispy pork belly, goat cheese grits, watermelon rind chutney
  •  Chicken and dumplings with sage veloute
  •  Tomatillo pie with cajeta caramel frozen yogurt

Sallie and her son, Jacob grow a wide variety of colorful and tasty chiles. From fiery habaneros to smoky pasillas, spicy jalapenos and serranos, these chiles have the flavors to create memorable dishes.

Our menu for the evening will include:

  • Cornmeal fried calamari with tangerine aioli, house habanero hot sauce
  • Beef carpaccio with chimichurri sauce and potato/serrano causa
  • Chile relleno with black bean refritos, banana salsa
  • Caribbean seafood stew
  • Chocolate crepe with mango, candied chile, sweet pasilla mole

”A Night with Bourbon Barrel Foods”

Nectar Restaurant is proud to present ”A Night with Bourbon Barrel Foods”
Founder Matt Jaime, from Louisville, Kentucky, will be here to share his story of creating the nation’s only soy sauce micro brewery which ferments non GMO soybeans in aged bourbon barrels.. Matt also creates a fantastic line of smoked salts, sugars,and peppercorns, as well as Kentucky grown sweet sorghum products.

Bourbon Barrel Foods is a 2014 Martha Stewart American Made Award Recipient.

Our menu for the evening will include:

  • Bourbon pepper crusted Tuna sashimi, pickled plum and citrus,Kentucky soy dipping sauce
  • Smoked Paprika roasted squash with cranberries, pecans,feta and sweet sorghum
  • Mushroom Kentuckyaki bowl, greens and grains, soy pickled egg
  • Chinese Style pork with sorghum glazed sweet potato
  • Sorghum sesame creme brulee with bourbon vanilla sugar and gingersnaps

  • Salad of frisee, blood orange, sunchokes, pickled beet,walnut and fontina
  • House cured salmon gravalox,cornmeal blini, creme fraiche, salmon roe
  • Artichoke and mushroom flan, tomato saffron coulis,petite herbs

2nd Course

Your choice of:

  • Red wine braised local beef brisket, creamy polenta, caramelized rutabaga,salsa verde
  • Caribbean jerk spiced snapper, avocado puree, caramelized plantain, grilled lime
  • Vegetarian bowl, grains, greens, house kim chi, sesame tahini dressing
